A delicious and juicy hamburger does not require a lot of things to make. My favorite recipe is pretty straightforward. What I’m going to teach you is a simple recipe for a juicy and delicious batch of hamburgers. You can build up from it and add other ingredients to customize it to your liking.

The first thing you should do is to shop for the necessary ingredients. Make sure that the meat you choose is fresh and has just the right amount of fat in it. The list of things you need include:

1.5 lbs 20% fat 80% lean ground beef (you can also go for ground chuck)

1 ½ tsp salt

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder  

½ tsp black pepper, ground

4 slices of cheese

4 pieces hamburger buns

Extra and optional ingredients: onion, tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, pickles, cheese, mayonnaise, etc.

Take a large bowl to prepare your burger patties in. Place the ground beef inside the bowl. Make sure the beef is at room temperature and is completely defrosted. Mix in the Worcestershire sauce, the seasoning salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Make sure to disperse the ingredients in different areas and then mix them thoroughly. You can massage the seasoning in using your hands or using a spatula. Just make sure that your hands are clean if you are going to opt for that option.


Once you are done, you can now divide the mixture into four equal parts. This recipe can make four burger patties. You can use a burger mold to press the ground meat into flattened patties. Make sure to add enough pressure so that all of the ground meat pieces will stick together. Your patties should be about three-quarters of an inch thick. Press down the middle to form an indentation to prevent bulging. 


Before you begin preparing your burger patties, make sure to prepare your grill first. This recipe calls for a grill that is preheated 375 degrees Fahrenheit or at medium-high temperature. 

Carefully place your patties on the grill using a spatula. Cook one side for about four to five minutes before flipping it over. Cook the other side for about the same amount of time so that it will be thoroughly cooked.



The beauty of this recipe is that you can customize it to your liking. If you want to transform this into a cheeseburger, simply place the slice of cheese on top of the patty about a minute before you take it off the grill. When preparing the buns, you can lightly toast them and then add a drizzle of sesame seeds on top. You can also add as many vegetables as you want. Some of the most basic fillings include sliced onions, tomatoes, and lettuce. Go for the ketchup, mayo, and mustard if you please.

That is also why it is important to select only premium ground meat with the proper fat-to-lean ratio.
